Just when I was about to leave the house for an outing, I accidently pushed a humongous stapler off the edge of the table and onto my feet. - *pain. Gosh and I just realised my feet had an awkward looking shape 0.O"

I make my home

Few days ago, I saw this little wasp was hovering beside me while I was taking pictures of my necklaces infront of an old tin box filled with clothes pegs. I stopped and looked at it flying out and returning with very tiny little bits of mud/soil and started building it's nest in the pegs. I immediately snapped a picture of it. I'm not into bugs but I totally admired it's tremendous effort to collect mud bits by bits and filling almost 10 holes in those old pegs to create it's home sweet home.



Today I saw baby flying bugs, around 1/2o of the size of this wasp, hovering above the tin box...

finally created a banner I liked :) the background of the banner was taken months ago on a day with perfect weather. I've always enjoyed taking pictures of the sky. I can be typing on the laptop at one moment and snapping pictures of the beautiful sky/clouds/moons/stars next.

Had been sick for 2 days now,-fever,cough, loss of voice and prior to that, sounding like a man the whole day! and I realised it had been so so long since I take a break from work. It has been rushing from places to places and talking non-stop these few days.

 How I wish I can go travelling with Z(the husband). (nono.we don't have extra funds-the husband and I are saving up for a house.) And practically it's really hard because the prices of flats are so expensive here in Singapore!

I started Meme and Moss this July because it has always been my childhood dream to own a small jewelry shop of my own. I still remembered my secondary school days when I was still that teenage girl who scrimp and save up my pocket money just to buy a piece of jewelry. I love jewelry and it's my passion to create pieces for others to love and wear.

I am really thankful that after 20 days of waiting,(it's a bit scary really, cause I did invested a part of my savings to buy my supplies- so hard to get supplies here and I had to order from overseas-thus higher cost because of the shipping fees and difference in currencies) I finally sold a ring to a very nice lady, Fay. She left me a wonderful comment and message that kept me motivated to go on. *thanks. :-)

I am starting to think about promotions or giftaways.. hmm. what should I do to improve sales?...

Rainy Sunday

This is how it looks like this morning, through my window.

Dark and cloudy- it looks like it's going to rain!
I love the smell of rain, the fresh smell of cool crisp air, the lazy attitude of the weather, the perfect, laze around the house excuse, the rustling of the leaves (too many trees outside), strong winds and the rapid movements of puffy black clouds.

I'm going to pack up a ring nicely and bring it to the post office later.

Labradorite

Aurora

Took out a small stash of labradorite I bought a few months ago and started to make them into earrings. These are made with gold filled wires and 14k gold earhooks. I love how they shimmered in the light while I was taking this photo outside my house. Flashes of blue/green/sea green can be seen when I rotate them in different angles.

Will be up in the shop soon :)

late night supper outside Singapore

the husband, his brother and me often goes this place in Johor Bahru for supper while waiting for our car to be washed- a few meters away. Love the Mee Goreng and Murtabak.
